My financial services client is on the lookout for a talented Data Scientist to join their high-performing and growing team. You will be responsible for analysing the potential of their complex data sets to generating insight and predictions that will have a real impact on business decisions. You will also collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define requirements and ensure requests are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning, and data modelling.
• Understanding of BI strategies and how they relate to Data Science/Analysis.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders to define requests and report insights.

Nice to have:

• Financial services or insurance experience.
• Good understanding of LLMs and NLP.
